Blind deboss
A heated brass die pressed into the surface. No ink at all — the mark is the impression itself, which is why government and protocol recipients consistently prefer it.

What drives the cost
Cost is driven by die size, not quantity. Once the die exists, the per-unit cost is small — so debossing gets cheaper per piece faster than any other method.
See it on the product
The mockup maker renders blind deboss the way it actually behaves on each substrate, and refuses the combinations that will not work — so unquotable artwork never reaches the studio.

What is the difference between deboss and emboss?
Deboss presses in, emboss raises out. On leather goods deboss is standard; emboss needs a backing material.
Is there a die charge?
Yes, one-off, and we credit it back on orders above 250 pieces.
Can we add colour?
Yes — that is foil stamping, using the same die with a coloured foil.
