What drives the cost
Cost is driven by engraving time, which follows the amount of artwork rather than its complexity. A solid mark engraves faster than fine outline detail.

Can you engrave in colour?
No. Engraving reveals the material beneath, so the result is always monotone. Use UV print for colour.
Does it work on bamboo?
Yes, and it is the recommended method — it burns a dark permanent mark with no ink at all.
Will engraving weaken the product?
No. Marking depth is a fraction of a millimetre, well within the material's tolerance.
