Sublimation
Ink turned to gas under heat and dyed into the material itself. The artwork becomes part of the fibre, so it cannot peel, crack or wear off — and it prints edge to edge.

What it suits — and what it does not
Suits
- Lanyards, both sides
- White and light-coated mugs
- Polyester apparel
- Mouse mats and full-wrap items
We would not use it for
- Dark fabric — the dye needs a light base
- Natural cotton, which will not take the dye
- Bare metal without a coating

What drives the cost
Cost is flat regardless of coverage — a full-bleed design costs the same as a small logo, which makes it the best value when you want the whole surface branded.
See it on the product
The mockup maker renders sublimation the way it actually behaves on each substrate, and refuses the combinations that will not work — so unquotable artwork never reaches the studio.
Preview sublimationFrequently asked questions
Why can't you sublimate dark lanyards?
The dye is translucent and needs a light base to read. For dark lanyards we screen print instead.
Can you print both sides of a lanyard?
Yes, at no extra cost. Most corporate orders take the logo repeating on both faces.
Is same-day sublimation possible?
Yes on lanyards under 500 pieces, with artwork approved before 11am.
