A breakaway buckle is not optional. A lanyard that does not release under load is a strangulation risk around children, and every school order we produce includes one as standard. Year-group colour systems then do the identification work — a supervisor recognises a colour across a playground faster than any printed name.
Offices: brand consistency
One colourway matching the brand, with the logo woven or sublimated as a repeat. A swivel clip rather than a breakaway, because the failure mode in an office is a dropped badge rather than a caught cord. Most corporate orders take 15mm or 20mm width.
Material by setting
Schools need durability across a full academic year — polyester or recycled PET, sublimation printed so it cannot peel. Offices can justify organic cotton or a tubular finish, which feel better and wear faster.
Ordering rhythm
Schools order on the academic calendar, which means July and August. Offices order against headcount growth, which means continuously. We hold year-group colourways in stock between terms for exactly this reason.
