Breakaway buckles release under load. This is the single non-negotiable specification in school lanyards, and it applies to students and staff alike. We fit them as standard on every school order rather than as an option.
Identity by colour
Year-group colour systems let staff identify a student's year across a corridor without reading anything. Visitors get a distinct colour — usually high-contrast — so an unbadged adult is immediately visible.
Durability across a year
A school lanyard is worn daily for nine months by someone not being careful with it. Sublimation printing survives that; screen print on a cheap cord does not. Recycled PET is the material we recommend, and it supports a sustainability claim for the school's own reporting.
Ordering on the academic calendar
Schools order in July and August, which is also when every other school orders. We hold year-group colourways in stock between terms so a late enrolment intake does not wait on production.
